Let the roof produce energy

Our offer – delivery “on key”

We provide a complex solution of your project. Our job begins with the design of optimal PV (photovoltaic) system in consideration of building and environment particularities. We will provide the project engineering, project documentation, realization, connection into the distribution network. We will prepare the application forms for Regulatory Office for Network Industries and provide terms of contract with the distributor. After the implementation into production we will take care of service warranty and post warranty, as well as maintenance of equipment.

Legislative platforms

The Slovak legislative currently supports the building of small PV power plants and PV devices placed on buildings. By course of law 309/2009 it is possible to install one installation of maximal capacity 100kW of the installed output onto one building with individual listing number.

Regarding the current legislative orientation toward increasing energetic efficiency of buildings, it is preferred to connect installations for individual consumption of the building, with the selling of excesses of produced energy. Legislative orientated this way prefers installations that regard long-term efficiency effect of building primal to financial gain.

Regarding the building law, PV installation, connected to its own consumption, is a PV device, which doesn’t require construction administration; announcement of a small building will suffice. This issue is specified by methodical guideline by the Ministry of Transport, Construction and Regional Development, the allowance of PV installations from 8.8.2011.

Technical premises:

  • Installation size – depends on the area on the building, which is prone to be installed with PV panels. Generally, for 1kW of installed power we need free area of cca 8-15 m2.
  • Transmission system capacity – the distributional company must guarantee that the wiring into which the installation is connect, has the capacity required to prevent the reserved power to exceed the security of the system. Because of this, the distribution company considers every request for access to the system especially carefully in terms of this.
  • Technical capacity of building – before the actual installation, it is necessary to work out a static report, which guarantees that the installation will not jeopardize the statics of the building.
  • The gripping installation of the building – answers the question whether it is possible to place the installation onto the building in a way that prevents jeopardizing the safety of persons and damage to property during the operation.

When is the investment worth it?

The backflow of investment in a PV device depends on several factors. Here we list the most important:

  • Light conditions at the installation site
  • Shading from nearby buildings, trees and uneven terrain
  • Geographical orientation of the installation and the horizontal tilt of the panels
  • Quality of the installed technologies and optimization of system losses from the design
  • The overall financial costs
  • Operating costs
